Deep Listening | Deep Seeing (working title) is a interdisciplinary duet in collaboration with Canadian Brussels based musician Julia Dyck. It is a performative experience that invites audience members to enter a state of meditation. We are interested in the conundrum of creating a meditation state that is both introspective and extroverted. Members of the audience are participants and almost take on a role of co-creator, as they meditate with open eyes. They are directed at the beginning to be available to receive sensorial stimulus creating the opportunity for an energetic and kinaesthetic response.
